Each of us is bearing the impress of his/her past. We are the result of hundreds of generations before us. Our past and our present are characterised by the culture in which we grew up. Our cultural environment but also the geographical situation of our home influence our reminiscences.

Remembrances are part of our own history; they are individual and selective. But they are essential for considering the past and for passing down culture and traditions.
